Craft Glue

  • 350 ml tepid water
  • 65 g plain flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 3 tsp bicarb soda
  • 1 glass jar
  1. Pour the tepid water into a large saucepan and place over medium heat.
  2. Add the flour and whisk well to combine and avoid any lumps.
  3. When the mixture is hot, add the sugar and whisk well until the sugar has dissolved.
  4. Stir in the vinegar. Keep whisking!
  5. Add the bicarb and whisk quickly. You’ll notice the bicarb react with the vinegar, making the mixture fluff up a bit.
  6. Whisk together as the mixture thickens slightly, then remove the pan from the heat.
  7. Pour into a glass jar and seal.
  8. Store the glue in the fridge when you’re not using it. It should last up to 6 months.
