Hi there!

I’m McKenzie and I make stuff like it’s my job. More specifically, I design brands & develop websites people that want to share their amazing ideas with the world! I also love to do little personal projects — whether it’s through design, photography, hand-lettering, sewing, cooking, crafting; I’ll try just about anything! My motto is: Why be a master in one thing when you can be pretty good at hundred different things.

I received my BFA from Brigham Young University in the prestigious Graphic Design Program. I’ve always got a good self-help book in hand and a ball of yarn when traveling. It’s amazing how many skills and creative outlets there are to explore and I want to explore them all! I hope to never stop learning new things.

  1. I would wear dresses every day if I could. In 2016, I started a sort of ritual every month I had a negative pregnancy test I would buy myself a new dress. Although it might not be the best financial decision, nothing is better than getting something in the mail!
  2. I am obsessed with bucket lists and love to take advantage of anything new and exciting. Sky diving, no problem! Swim with whales, yes please!
  3. I met my husband at the age of 18 and we wrote letters to each other for two years while he was across the world on an LDS mission.
  4. In high school and college, my friends and I would joke that the connection from my brain to my mouth is not quite connected right. My husband likes to make a game of it when I can’t think of a word. I can explain similar words, I even can know the first letter or what it rhymes with but the actual word escapes me. It’s the weirdest thing. Because of this (and other reasons), I hate public speaking. It’s probably one of my biggest fears. I would play the piano or even sing to a group of 100 rather than speak to a group of 20 people.
  5. Not only do I love trying new things, but my husband does too! He has started painting and is pretty spectacular at it. Thanks Bob Ross! Our more recent hobby: homemade pasta and artisan bread.
  6. I learned to play the piano when I was 4 and took lessons for almost 12 years. It is my go-to when I am stressed or just want to refresh my brain. If anyone has a secret hole in the internet to find the best sheet music please share!

Thank you very much for taking the time to explore my site. You can explore my work here! Please don’t hesitate to contact me, I look forward to hearing from you!
