I shared this on a story and it’s just too cute to me so I want a place to permanently watch it over and over again. The baby leaning curiously, the Daddy working hard, the little kid dance moves, the “let’s wrestle mommy” giggles, the project finished I had been dying to find time to do and figured it out alone. Granted, I wanted to curl into a ball and scream at my kids just a few hours previous to this. I actually smacked one kid on the cheek and then felt absolutely terrible (they knowingly put their sibling in danger. We made amends, I asked them to forgive me and they told me to pray to ask Jesus to forgive me too 😅). The cutsie music makes this as magical as it felt in the moment but know this is not the full picture — there is overwhelm, utter exhaustion, and burn out, yet I see the magic in it too. ✨ So I will rewatch the magic. *Literally right after this video that child wrestled me down and told me “You’re the best mom ever!” The pure love and quick forgiveness of a child is definitely the most magical thing of all!

Junie turned 11 months two weeks ago and I had to make sure we got her photo before her first birthday or else my perfect track record would be ruined 🤪😅. Juniper is our food-loving, crawling up stairs as fast as she can, walking any day now, little busy bee! She loves waving hi and Daddy is becoming her favorite little wrestle buddy. We can’t believe how much bigger she’s gotten and smarter she seems and love her all the more! #juniperfaygrew

Put your trash to use! ✂️ Take 2 more minutes before you take apart all your cardboard boxes and cut out any food items on them. My daughter loves using them as ingredients in her mini kitchen and serving me plates of real-looking entrees! A perfect screen-free way to play 🥰 I put them all inside this perfectly-sized container this morning since baby is finding and shoving them all in her slobbery mouth 😅. (Sidenote: Did I turn on a movie for the kids to make this reel? Yes. Am I now gonna go hide in the pantry eating a bowl of Lucky Charms now? Yes. 🤣👏🏼).

This photo represents Juniper well as her 10-month self. Blurry, always moving, wiggly, go-go-go girl! Her bottom teeth came in and she will chew everything in her grasp. She loves scraping down a mini cucumber until it disappears, and she slurps down mandarin oranges in record speed. Junie is obsessed with her siblings and does everything in her power to keep up with them. She still loves to be close to mom but has really enjoyed exploring her world independently. She’s our burst of commotion with giggles and smiles and we love her to the moon and back! #juniperfaygrew

This month definitely felt like it went the fastes

This month definitely felt like it went the fastest. June is 9 months out in this world! Such a short amount of time but feels like she’s been here forever. Juniper is crawling like a fiend yet still prefers to be held most of the time. Her bottom two teeth came in and I’m surprised how well she handled it compared to my previous two (or I’m too busy with 3 kids to observe differences in her behavior). She learned that there are foods that taste better than others and already demands her favorites (mandarin oranges and pears) and spits out her least faves (avocado and non-sugar Cheerios). I’m guessing she’ll be another sweet tooth, just a little karma for me I guess 😉. We love our little bath-loving, giggle-festing chunky monkey Junie! #juniperfaygrew
