5 Years of Photos | Mosaic Project

September 2010 is when it all started with Ryan. 5 years ago! That might not sound like a lot, but it’s crazy to think I met the love of my life at 18 and now we’ve been married for almost 2 years. I love looking through old photos — we took a lot freshman year — as well as wedding and recent photos, and I wanted to do something with all of them. I have seen these photo collages before and they might be super cheesy or overdone but I thought I’d try it out. I had the perfect photo for it, a bad pixelated photo from the first time we saw each other again after 2 years apart.

I used a website that analyzed the colors and tones of each photo and places them in specific spots to create the larger photo. And I am kind of obsessed with it. It has over 500 photos of us and I think is the perfect way to celebrate the past 5 years together.

To make your own, just got to easymoza.com, upload your large photo, upload all your small photos, and create the mosaic! It as simple as that! To get the best outcome, make sure you have a good variety of dark, medium, and light photos. Luckily, all our wedding photos are super bright and we have lots of photos from our Rise Festival so it worked perfectly. Sometimes one photo will be used in multiple places so I had to add or delete a few photos so it wasn’t too obvious.

I love ours, ordered a canvas of it, and can’t wait to see it printed!
